Washington Part 1

I'm leaving the fam again! But it doesn't seem as scary as when I went to Spain. I think it's because I'm seeing them in like 6 weeks or so. On my last day my parents took me out to Mai Thai. Literally one of my favorite restaurants ever. At least in the old town area. So delish. And after dinner Cella bought us dessert. Gracias Cecilia.
Very cute pic of mi mama.

Last pic of Virginia. If you look really closely you can see the Washington Monument in the rainy distance.
Washington from the sky at 10. At night. At like 1 in the morning my time. Let's just say I was really tired once I got to my friends house.
Anyway I got in and was reunited with my friend Paige. And for a couple days we had a partay!
We went to the zoo and I touched sting rays and baby sharks.
And just saw sharks in general. I forgot how cool the zoo's aquarium was. The zoo in D.C. is kind of lame in the shark department.
This is jaw has a lot of cool memories for me. Good ol' childhood.
The Pea Cock was showing off.
 Tigres
 And arctic foxes.
And a cute dopey polar bear.

So that was the zoo! Then I went to one of my favorite childhood places ever!
 Owens beach!
Can you tell I'm in Washington?
I also got me some fro yo and I didn't have to pay for it cause I got the weight of the week. Aww yeah!
After all my fun Point Defiance adventures I went to Seattle.
Rode a ferry to get there.

Ate some delish clam chowder and fish n' chips. Then fed Seagulls. So that was chill.

 Cool art.
Bought some Beecher's Cheese Curds and watched them be made.
We met with my friend Ari who's attending UW and had a really fun afternoon with her.

Gum wall! I feel this message applies to all life.

And then Wednesday my parents picked me up and have been partying together since.
I hung out with dad today. We ate Teriyaki and shopped at Costco. We also had to watch the baby while mom was out with friends. But we managed to have fun anyway. Dang babies. We love them though.
Anyway this weekend brings wedding plans and you'll get all the beef on that later. Till next time!

Norbaby is Blessed!

Well the title explains it! Norman got blessed today!
He was blessed at home which is always a cool experience. I feel it's a lot more personal. We had a family testimony meeting and it was really sweet and spiritual and I just love the family I was born into. They're all wonderful people. Just gonna say that.

Uncle Brent and Aunt Sheree came out just for this special event. We've had such a fun visit with them. I love them so much and I'm excited that I'm moving to Utah so I'll be able to see them more often.
I sure love Norbaby. He's the cutest and I'm really going to miss him when I'm gone. Anyway till next time!

Last Hurrahs

Seeing as I'm leaving in less than a week I figured I might as well have a last hurrah with my time in D.C.

I've been trying for weeks to get tickets online to the Hirshhorns Infinity Mirrors exhibit. Unfortunately I was always to late. So instead I decided to take Townsend with me and just wait in line early in the morning to see this exhibit. It started raining once we got there and when I say rain I mean down pour of torrential rain. It was crazy.

Anyway enjoy these pics of our day out!
 Smithsonian Castle
Townsend found us some chairs. Yay for chairs!
Speaking of chairs how would you like to sit in this one?
Or how would you like to wear this coat?
The rooms were amazing! You only got about 30 seconds in each but it was really cool and made you think about life.

 Townsie's so cute.
 Art
I think this room was my favorite. I felt like I was in space.
And here is the creator of all this art. She's like 80 something, dressed like lady gaga, and signing to a song. She's a pretty rocking old lady.

This one made me think of pulpo for some reason.
 Second favorite room.

This room we had to have someone come in with us is because a previous person had smashed one of the pumpkins. And apparently they're a couple thousand a piece. So that's fun.
 Beauty and grace.

Last room. I'd say the exhibit was worth the wait.
But then we left the museum and it was still pouring and we got soaked. It was so much fun. You don't even know.

Anyway that was a pretty fun day. Then a couple days ago I went to the bay bridge beach with the kids I nanny and met up with some friends. It was really fun and made me weirdly think of A Coruna and it's beaches. It was pretty amazing.

Anyway that's it for now with my last hurrahing. I'm sure that's a word. I still have six days left so we'll see if I go on any other adventures till I leave. Anyway till next time!
