A Reference From God!

That's a dramatic title isn't it? Haha but it's true. We got a reference from God this week. So I think that I already explained how we give tours around the temple right? Well we ended one and desk people told us that someone had stopped by asking to talk to representatives of the church and then left his name and number. You can imagine that we immediately called him back. He then told us an incredible story. He said he had been praying about what he should do to help his almost 2 year old son in the future. Then that night he had a dream of his son dressed in white inside the temple. He then described the the temple perfectly. White, peaceful, and beautiful. He then said that he was told in the dream that he needed to go to the temple and look for representatives and that next Sunday he needed to come to the chappel at 8 in the morning. So he did exactly that. We had a lesson with him, his wife, his brother, and obviously his son before church. The Familia Hernandez. It truly was an incredible lesson. I've never met anyone so willing to follow revelation. He explained to us how he believes that his son has a great mission to complete in this church and that he and his family are willing to do whatever to support little Alejandro. They then stayed for the whole timeblock of church, recieved the "Come, Follow Me" manual, and set a date for another lesson on Tuesday. Tuesday came around and we had a lesson about the plan of salvation on the temple grounds. It was an incredible lesson filled with the spirit, filled with questions, and filled with understanding. I think only the ex-missionaries will truly understand what a blessing this family is. The mission is honestly filled with so much rejection and when people do listen it isn't attentively. This family wants to learn. It's a yearning that I've only seen a couple times on the mission. It honestly just makes me so happy. They're the typical half Catholic/ half Evangelical family that says they're religious but don't really go to church. But since this dream happened the light and excitement that they've had every time we meet with them is in incredible. Their joy brings me joy. They've found direction and they're following it with all they've got. It's amazing. There is a slight problem. They don't live in our area. But they're planning on moving into a part that's either in our area or close. So I believe that president is going to give us permission to continue teaching them. I sure hope so. It's amazing teaching them and more than anything I want to see where this nino ends up.

Anyway that's our reference from God that pretty much fell from the sky. But in other news this week I got to see many friends from giving recorridos, I ate kraft mac, ate a tipical dinner de guate, hung with my elders, and loved my little tiny compita. And there you have my week. I love you my gente! Hasta leugo!
