Did you understand that title? Anyway this week has been an incredible week of seeing how the temple truly works miracles in peoples lives. We had many tours and we got see people genuinely recieve revelation and peace from entering the temple. We had one old guy who didn't want to leave and we ended up staying for over an hour, just sitting in the lobby. It was great. But this week we also got to see a lot of people who had previously come for tours, leaving the temple from doing baptisms for the dead. One was an hermana from Mision Este. Before we had started the tour with her the elders had told us that she was super hard and mean and didn't want to be baptized and really just didn't want to progress. But then we saw her the other day and she gave us a hug and thanked us profusely for all we had done. It wasn't anything we had done. It's what the spirit had done. But still it was amazing to see a "mean" old lady change into a loving old grandma. Another hermana once came for a tour and was super mad. Like so mad. She did not want to be there. But when we saw her again she gave us giant hugs and called us her "nenas" and talked with us as if we were old friends. But really what I love is that the gospel brings happiness. The problems don't go away. They're always there. But the gospel brings the peace and guidance we need to face those problems. And so in turn we have a happiness that we didn't have before. It's the best. Anyway I just wanted to share that short experience with you.
In other news this week was short. Just the normal temple tours and trying to go visit people. We were given an extra area so we've been working Las Lomas as well as in Vista Hermosa. It's a little difficult but it's a lot more fun. Vista Hermosa is amercanized Guate. Las Lomas is the Guate I know. So we've been covering that area, eating ice cream with investigators, going to driving ranges, and really just enjoying the temple. And there you have my week in a nutshell. I love you all! Hasta Luego!
