This week was fantabulous. Woo! We ate Ceviche (seafood cocktail) and while we were waiting I took some fab pics of my elders. Me and my comp had a very fancy dinner we made ourselves. #treatyoself Then like 2 days later my comp was dying. Probably because of the seafood. But I labeled her as my daughter and you can see the joy on her face of being claimed as mine. I hugged 4 kittens. I swear there has never been so many animals in my life. And my 4 year old elders laughed to tears from watching Madagascar. You know it's been a while.
Anyway our toilet also broke but we got it fixed finally. It's been slightly broken the entire time I've been here in Mita. It just finally shut down completely. So that was a fun adventure.
But anyway in ways of all things good an holy this week...... I got to be an angel in answer to a pray. It kind of sucked actually. One day we walked for probably three hours straight just find no one home. It was dark and towards the end of the day so we couldn't even have contacted if we wanted to. But finally we get to the house of an hermana. She's a lovely soul. Her husband is an inactive member and her kids are a little rowdy sometimes. She's got twin boys of age 8. Imagine it. But when we showed up we were able to share a message and just have a little family home evening type thing. And in the closing prayer she thanked the lord for sending us so that she could have her FHE. That it was something she had been wanting all day but no one was supporting her. I don't know it was just cool. It's frustrating sometimes to just walk and walk but I know really God has a purpose for those kinds of days. And this day I was able to see what that purpose was. I've been able to see many times on the mission how the lord has put us in the place to be an answer to a prayer. And maybe it's not always our will and it takes us a while to be put into that position. But eventually we get there and it's incredible when we're able to be a tool in the lords hands. I just love it. Anyway I love you people. I shall talk to you next week!
