That's right folks! I had changes and I went to the temple! I've only had one day in the area and I already love it. My companion is Hna Rosales from Honduras. She was my Hermana Lider before and I just love her! And holy cow she's super excited to be my comp. It's hilarious. But anyway sometimes I think it's amazing how well the lord knows us. Ever since I started my mission I wanted to go to the temple. And now I'm here! The only problem is that as soon as I got here I was told that we had a temple tour to give a little later in the day. As temple sisters we show investigators around the temple gardens and tell them a little about the history of temples, why we have them, blessings we recieve from them, and just about them in general. That includes memorizing a lot of dates and facts and just a bunch of stuff that I don't know. I was a little anxious and slightly stressed out to say the least. But my comp is wonderful and we practiced a lot before hand. During the practices I had a song stuck in my head. I always do so I wasn't really paying attention to what song it was. Then halfway through I realized it was "Peace Be Still" and I just felt like it was Heavenly Father saying to me to have peace and not worry about it. And it was true. When the time of the tour came I was able to do my part almost perfectly! I just forgot one tiny little part. The spirit was guiding and directing the entire time and really it was incredible! I think that's one lesson that I've learned on the mission. Is that I need to have "Peace" and "Be Still." Or to "Be still, and know that" he is "God." He truly is in charge of everything. If we just take confidence in that we don't need to worry about anything. I love it!
Anyway this week entero was really spent in Mita saying goodbye to people I love. I found another family there in Mita. I truly am going to miss them but luckily there's a thing called social media out there so I know that I'll be able to talk to all of them again. I love Mita. Anyway we also had a multi-zone conference and I rocked some pants mom made me and no one knew any better. Maybe I was distracting them with my fabulous blusa tipica. I also learned how to make pupusas. Get prepped fam. I'm about to introduce you to something bien rico. But anyway in resume that was my week.
I love you people. Sometimes it's crazy that I've been out here so long without being able to hug and talk to you all. But I guess we'll have enough time for that later. Anyway be good and remember who you are! Hasta luego!
Hermana Judd
