Hello my people! How are you doing? I'm hoping well. And if not que triste. I swear the more time I have here on the mission the fast it goes by. Like se fue esta semana! Where'd it go? I have no idea. It feels like I haven't done anything but obviously I've done a ton. This week I went to immigrations! Yay! Not. It's like the dmv but without a purpose. Like we go, wait for HOURS, eventually sign 2 pieces of paper and take a photo. Y ya. That's literally it. It feels like a waste of time. But hey I gotta be a resident or something. We also had entrevistas. That was good. My comp likes to subconsciensouly (Did I spell that right? Probs not.) make fun model poses. We also did some service and were carpenters. Really we just sanded planks of wood. But hey it counts right? We played games with some youngins. And in fin we went to the setting apart of our friend Jasmine who left for her mission in Mexico yesterday. Oh and we had pupusas! I sure do love those things. They're freaking delish. All in all it was a relatively chill week.
Anyway in ways of things spiritual this week I wanted to share a scripture that I found during my personal studies that I liked. It's in D&C 42:61 and it says, "If thou shalt ask, thou shalt recieve revelation upon revelation, knowledge upon knowledge, that thou mayest know the mysteries and peaceable things-that which bringeth joy, that which bringeth life eternal." And why do I like this scripture? Because it's a really amazing combination of James 1:5 and 2 Nephi 28:30. That if we ask in faith we'll be given all the mysteries and knowledge that we want, little by little. But I think it's also a reminder that we need to be patient when we're waiting for answers and looking for new knowledge. That it all comes with time but eventually it will all be revealed. Anyway that was my little spiritual thought for you guys. And that's what I got for the week! Love you all! Adios! That's all for now!
