Well I chopped my hair off. A lady in my branch here in Mita said my hair was damaged from bleaching it forever ago and would pay to get it cut. So here I am with my new look. It honestly makes me truly happy. I feel like me again. I'm only missing my bangs. But maybe I'll get those again when I get back from the mish. We'll see. But for the meanwhile I'm back to the young youthful looking me. Or maybe I'm going through a midlife crisis. A mid mission life crisis that is. Who knows.
Anyway this week has been quite enjoyable. I hung out a lot with my missionary friends. We had a pizza party. And then we went to another kind of party. B-day. Latino style. There was a lot of food involved. Truly was incredible. and I learned that I look freaking fabulous when I'm getting ready for bed. Be proud that you know me. JK.
Anyway in way of spirituality this week I was highly impressed with the youngins of the world. We have 2 invesetigator families. One is the familia Ibonez-Gonzalez. The mom is an inactive member and the rest of them are all investigators. But something really cool is that, yes, they're all interested in the church and learning more. But the hija of 12 is so excited and is really leading her family as an exampe of the type of animo and excitement they should all have about the gospel. We've only known this family for a week but they're progressing so much. And all thanks to this jovencita. The other family I can't remember their last name. But really we're teaching a grandpa and the grandaughter. The parent of the girl are inactive members and are slowly re-activating. But anyway the grandpa is 84 and the youngin is 8. But hombre., she is the most on point 8 year old I've ever met in my entire life. Her love for the gospel is incredible. But not only that her knowledge of it and her desire to learn it and her testimony are even more insane. I wish you could see it. But that little girl, se llama Genesis, is being an example to all of those around her. To her parents but even more to her grandpa and heping him learning about the gospel. She reads him the scriptures, and folletos, and has gospel discussions with him. nit's just a beautiful thing to see. I love the role that a youth have in our lives. That they truly do make the difference in this world. They bring joy and happiness. And really we should all strive to follow their example. I mean why did Jesus say we should become as little children? Anyway that's what really impressed me this week and what I'm really going to try to work on personally. To be more like a little child and be a real disciple of Christ.
Haha anyway can you tell I miss youngins. Love you sibs! Anyway I love you all. Until next week!
