Soy Ninja

This week I was a ninja. I broke into our house because we forgot the keys. So like we have 2 doors right? One that is on the street and then a corridor from there that leads to our actual apartment. We forgot the keys in the actual apartment door. So I being a pure ninja of the night scaled up the wall using a doorbell, a window, and a skylight. Jumped over the corrider, crawled along a cement wall, and lowered myself onto some stairs. And voila! We entered the casa. It's probably the most adrenaline I've ever had in my entire life. And it didn't help that as I was crawling along the wall our neighbor and his 20 chihuahuas come out. The dogs start barking at me and the guy super calmy is like "Hola!""Hola!""What are you doing?""We forgot our keys in the door."Oh. Esta bien. Buen Suerte!"I swear being a missionary sure fills your life with so many experiences you wouldn't have otherwise.

Anyway this week also includes celebrating the 4th of July with hamburgers and rootbeer floats, my comps b-day, beautiful views, getting baptized, a baptism of a patoja called Karisha, jumping for joy, seeing goats and sheep in the street, and my comp having a bird poop on her (karma!)

It was a pretty great week and went by SO fast! Honestly it amazes me how fast time has gone by. I'm already almost at the half way mark. Like what the heck? But it makes me happy. And reminds me that I should enjoy every day of it. Even if I'm always tired and my feet always hurt.

Anyway as for spiritualness this week we had a baptism as afore mentioned. It was for my new friend Karisha and it was amazing to see the ward support. Especially from the mujeres jovenes and their leaders. They sung like a trillion times and they all welcomed her to the ward. And really it was just so sweet that the YW of the ward were so welcoming, loving, and excited to have a new friend. It was the longest baptism I've ever been to but I was fine with it because it was super sweet. Sometimes I wish that before the mission I had gone to more baptisms and given more support to the missionaries. Because honestly it's really hard work being a missionary. But when the members are eager and ready to help it makes things a lot easier.

Anyway that's all I've got for you people today! I love you all! Till next time with missionary adventures with Marley!
