Rivers and Streets. What's the Difference?

Hello to the people of my pueblo! This week we messed around with glasses, ate pizza, y rice crispy treats, had streets turn into rivers, saw pretty views, heard birds sing, went to the temple, and had a baptism of my patojo friend Angel. 

I think there's a reason that my siblings where my friends because here on the mish it's super easy to be friends with the youngins. Angel is un jovencito de 13 anos and he's amazing. His step dad is Jehovas Witness ("the enemy") and is very condescending about everything and anything that has to do with the church. Always attacking him and his mom on religion and beliefs. But what I admire about dear Angelito is that even though he knew if he was baptized the persecution would get worse, he knew it'd be worth it and did it. I love the courage, valor, and faith he had to take that step. I wish we all had that kind of courage and faith. I know it's hard sometimes but I think when we ignore the fear and are confident in our decisions, we become better people, we become examples to others, and we're happier. So my challenge to you, mi gente, is to have that courage and faith to go forward. Because maybe the road ahead will be difficult but it'll be full of so many more blessings and joys than you can imagine. And as a missionary I can testify of that. I see it literally everyday. In my own life and in the lives of others.  

Anyway I love you people. In a brief noticia I would like it to be known that next weeks p-day will be on Monday the 27th of August due to multi-zonas and things of importance. And then you won't hear from me for a week and a half till the following Wednesday the 5th of September and every other Wednesday after the fact. Just so you know. Till next time!
