Wearing Girls Clothes and Other Things

This week has been fun. We had Multi-Zona. I didn't really see any of my friends from my old zone, but it was still fun. Woo! Food from the CCM!

We also had two baptisms this weekend. Osue y Nathaly. They're the siblings of the jovencita Karisha of last weeks baptism. It was really sweet. And a little funny. They both had to be baptized over again because ourr DL doesn't know how to submerge a person. And we sang. And everyone laughed at us. Literally. It was the worst I have ever sang in my entire life. And mainly because I had never sung the song before. And yeah. It was embarrassing. But I don't care. Another funny experience to add to my life of the mission! Oh and our DL forgot to bring an extra white shirt so I had to run to the house and let him borrow mine. Perks to being a giant as a missionary. So yes in the pic that's my shirt. Awesome right? Anyway the baptism was sweet because now the whole family is members and they're working towards getting sealed in the temple so they can be a family forever. And you know I dig that. Because families being together forever is one of the greatest blessings we have on this earth. The fact that I can live with all my best friends and never be seperated from them gives me immense joy and hope. As I'm sure it does to all who understand and appreciate the plan of slavation that our heavenly father has given us.
Anyway this week we also went to a goodbye dinner for an hermana who's going on a mission to Mexico next week. So that's pretty cool. We also saw a scary dog. I found the largest cactus I have ever seen in my entire life. We had a NDH and had to walk with 5 youngins for almost an hour to get there. I'm amazed that they made it. It was good though. And I think they enjoyed it more for all that walking. We also helped clean up a lady's house that she accidentally flooded. That was fun. But now I have to go buy new shoes. I've worn the same pair of shoes for the past casi 8 months almost everyday and the flood was the last straw. They're officially destroyed. So voy a comprar otros zapatos. Yay! Wish me luck! Mainly in finding them in my size. My feet are huge here.

And to finish the week we had divisions! It had several cool mercados and was just really pretty. We had a guy say to us, Ëy Canchitas! Hay Marijuana!"So that was fun. I'm 95% what he was trying to sell us was not marijuana but hey you know. That's fine. So yeah that was divisions.

And yeah. There's my week. As for my week of spirituality I feel like the theme was that families can be together forever. I already mentioned the desire of the Fam Fuentes (Karisha, Osue, y Nathaly) and the fervent wish to be sealed together. But that wasn't my only experience about the plan of salvation this week. This week we visited an Hermana whose father died recently. With her I was able to bare my testimony with her about the hope this plan brings. That we can live together forever. That we can find comfort and joy in this knowledge. And that all we can do while we're away from them is ensure that we do those things neccesary to be an eternal family. Y as much as she was still sad it was beautiful to see a little spark of hope come back to her eyes. Anyway I hope you people know how great the plan of slavation is. How it's a plan of mercy and love. And really only that. And if we want to enjoy all the blessings of this plan we need to embrace the gospel and live according to it's truths. Anyway that's what I've got for you people this week. I love you all! Till next time!
